St. Marys Industrial Park

Sandy Hook Industrial Park comprises approximately 50 acres which lies on the SE corner of the intersection of US Highway 24 and Maple Hill Road on the east end of St. Marys.


Sandy Hook was purchased in August 1995 by the Pessemier family and developed into an Industrial park in order, in part, to provide a new location for St. Marys State Bank, which is also owned by the family.

Sandy Hook was zoned as an industrial park and platted in 1996. It contains 38 platted lots, ranging in size from 1/2 acre to 3 acres.

Current residents in the park include an automobile machine shop, a bank, a physical therapist's office, a physician's office, and a wholesale lumber distribution center.

There are ten developed lots for sale. Four abut US Highway 24. The remaining lots are along an interior street in the park. The contact for these lots is St. Marys State Bank. 785-437-2271.

The Pottawatomie County Economic Corporation is now the owner of the remaining 30 undeveloped acres, comprising 25 platted but undeveloped lots on the south side of the Park.
