The town of Wheaton, KS, is located along Kansas Highway 16 northeast of Westmoreland. As of 2020, the population of Wheaton was just under 100. This rural town is part of the Onaga Area Chamber of Commerce, which serves the Onaga, Havensville, and Wheaton areas. Along with a sense of small-town hospitality, Wheaton is home to a strong agricultural community, which includes the notable Emrich Family Creamery.
