Resources

Employers

Many employers in the region will have job openings in the coming months and year and want you to know that when your time at your current position is over, there are other opportunities to keep you here in the area. A KansasWorks Mobile Workforce Center will be on site all day for the Community Career Fair, featuring computer labs, internet access, and staff to help you navigate resume creation and online job applications.

In the meantime, check out some local employers:

Financial Services

Potential income loss is stressful and you may not be able to control when a job ends, but you can take steps to manage the financial impact of the event. Resources will be provided to help you protect yourself when getting financial advice and how to ask the right questions about benefits.

Mental Health Services

Life is stressful and it’s always a good idea to take care of your mental health. Resources and referrals for services will be available.

Interested in attending the event? No need to register, just show up any time between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday, August 28th.
